twilight movie?

stephenie meyer is a amazing writer. and they are making a movie on twilight, but does any one agree with me for saying that the movie cant possibly be as good as the book? stephenie is so descriptive in the charactors thaughts emotions and very bieng, how could you possibly catch this on film?

   I mean look at Harry Potter the books are very descriptive, and the movies are pretty similar to the books.

2. OMG hello fellow twilighter/twi hard fan!!! I love Twilight also and have been following it for 3 years (since the first book came out). I have also been following every little detail of the movie production! I have also had my doubts regarding the quality of this film with the book. Rob and Kristen are very talented actors, but I do not think it will be the same. I think the key to watching this movie is to NOT compare it so closely to the books. I am going to cry if they stuff anything up severely...but I have faith in Catherine Hardwick. And better yet, Stepehenie Meyer has approved everything that has gone in to that movie. She was on set many times and Her and Catherine and Summit stayed in contact through the whole production of the movie. I think what we need to do is respect it as a movie. I think it will be very good, butyou are right in thinking that it cannot possibly beat the books.

   I am also worried that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will not be able to convey that powerful connection between Edward and Bella and it might just look really cheesy. But we will see when it is released.

3. yes i agree, usually books are better than movies.. and its true, with all of her detailed writing how could u catch that on film?


4. OMG!! Finally I found someone who thinks the same thing as me! I don't think the movie will be as good as the book, there are very few movies that follow the book closely and the only one I can think of is Gone With the Wind and there still are errors in it. I decided to seperate the movie from the book like I did with the Harry Potter movies. They're good - just not as good as the book. I think that Kristen Stewart or w/e her name is was the worst thing that could happen to the movie because Bella is the main character and the book is mainly what she is thinking or feeling. there isn't a whole lot of dialouge or action, and i watched movies she was in and almost barfed. but anywho done with my rant and i agree with you, the movie can't portray all her feelings, thoughts and emotions because it's a different medium, but also they put a crappy actress and have a psycho director. I'm going to give it a shot and treat it different than the book. sorry this is so long lol but i fully agree with you!
